Apple Health is the central store for health data on iPhone. Connecting it lets Everfit read activity recorded by your iPhone, Apple Watch, or any other app that writes to Apple Health (such as running or cycling apps).
What syncs
Steps and distance
Active energy / calories burned
Workouts recorded via Apple Watch or other Health-connected apps
Heart rate and resting heart rate
Body weight and body measurements (if logged in Health)
Before you connect
Make sure the Health app already contains the data you want Everfit to use (e.g., your Apple Watch is paired and syncing).
Update Everfit to the latest version from the App Store.
Steps to connect
Open the Everfit app and go to your Profile tab.
Tap Settings, then Connected Apps.
Select Apple Health and tap Connect.
iOS will show a permissions screen listing each data type (steps, workouts, heart rate, etc.). Turn on the categories you want Everfit to read, then tap Allow.
Return to Everfit — Apple Health will now show as Connected, and historical data will start to appear over the next few minutes.
Disconnecting or changing permissions
You can turn Everfit's Health access off two ways:
In Everfit: Profile > Settings > Connected Apps > Apple Health > Disconnect.
In iOS: Settings app > Privacy & Security > Health > Everfit, then turn off individual data categories or remove access entirely.
Troubleshooting
No data syncing? Check Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Everfit on your iPhone to confirm each data category is switched on.
Workouts missing? Only workouts saved to Apple Health (including via Apple Watch) will appear; workouts logged solely inside a third-party app that doesn't write to Health won't sync.
Delayed updates? Apple Health syncs in the background on Apple's schedule, so there can be a short delay before new data shows in Everfit.
