On newer Android devices, Google Fit works together with Health Connect, the central hub Android uses to share health and fitness data between apps. Everfit can access step count, workouts, heart rate, and weight from either, depending on which your phone uses.
What syncs
Daily step count
Logged workouts and activity duration
Heart rate (if your device records it)
Body weight (if logged in Google Fit / Health Connect)
Before you connect
Install the Google Fit app (or confirm Health Connect is set up) and make sure it already has the data you expect to see.
Update the Everfit app to the latest version from the Google Play Store.
Make sure Location and Physical Activity permissions are enabled for Google Fit on your phone.
Steps to connect
Open the Everfit app and go to your Profile tab.
Tap Settings, then select Connected Apps (sometimes labeled Integrations).
Find Google Fit / Health Connect in the list and tap Connect.
You'll be redirected to Google's permission screen. Review the data types Everfit is requesting and tap Allow.
Return to the Everfit app. The integration should now show as Connected, and your recent activity data will begin syncing.
Disconnecting
Go to Profile > Settings > Connected Apps, select Google Fit / Health Connect, and tap Disconnect. Your past Everfit workout data stays intact — only future syncing stops.
Troubleshooting
Data not appearing? Close and reopen the Everfit app, or check that Google Fit still has permission to access Physical Activity data in your phone's system settings.
Sync stopped after a phone update? Android sometimes resets app permissions during OS updates — reconnect the integration if this happens.
Duplicate steps or workouts? This can happen if the same workout is also logged manually in Everfit; delete the duplicate manual entry.
